Member Query – Reward & Benefits Policies in Poland
A member is seeking to understand how other multi-national companies with operations in Poland are adapting their reward and benefits policies to take account of new pensions and social insurance regulations that will come into effect in 2019. They are particularly interested in understanding:
1. Do you already have, or intend to implement a new corporate pension scheme (PPE) by the end of 2018, or will you adopt the government auto enrolment scheme (PPK) instead from July 2019?
2. If you have (or intend to implement) a PPE scheme, what level of minimum employer and employee contributions do you have in place?
3. Do you intend to take any action to compensate employees affected by new social insurance legislation which removes the contribution ceiling for state pension and disability contributions?
4. Given the legislative changes, do you anticipate making any pay increase in 2019 above country wage inflation?
