Member Query – IT On Call Remuneration Policy

A PARC member has asked the following:

  1. Do you have an IT ‘on-call’ employee remuneration policy?
  2. If yes, what are the key elements? For example:
  3. Do you provide a flat rate of pay for being on call, irrespective of whether an employee is actually called on to work?
  4. If yes, how much?
  5. If called on to work, do you award a pay rate for hours worked?
  6. If yes, how much?
