Robin Bew leads the Economist Intelligence Unit’s global editorial team. He is recognised for his commentary and interpretation of economic developments, drawing from over a decade of experience both presenting and defending his views to media and business audiences and to Board members and regional management teams.
Whenever key developments happen or there are major announcements making breaking news, Robin’s particular expertise on risk, the global economy, the world business environment and the financial services industry is sought.
He has been interviewed by BBC, CNN, CNBC Europe, CNBC Asia and Bloomberg. He joined the EIU from Her Majesty’s Treasury in 1995, becoming Chief Economist in 1997 and Editorial Director in 2006.
