The Issue:
We are delighted that The Right Honourable Michael Portillo delivered the Keynote Speech at our 2011 Summer Party.
His speech focused on key issues in education and pensions and their consequences for social division. He considered the Government's reforms to schooling and how university fees and loans will alter the outlook of students towards their studies and employment. He also presented his view on the economic and social implications of trends in pension provision. This lively, enjoyable and informing session was followed by a drinks reception.
