Dr Bill Pasmore

Bill Pasmore consults with executives on issues related to organisation design, managing change, CEO succession, Board assessment and development, and executive development. Until recently, he was a Partner at Oliver Wyman in New York and recently served on the global management team as the practice leader for the organisational research group.

He has worked across a broad range of industries and geographies with companies such as Nabisco, Kraft, United Airlines, Compuware, Luxottica, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, UBS, Dow Chemical, Kimberly-Clark, PepsiCo, Unilever, the Boston Globe, the US Navy, Procter & Gamble, Merrill Lynch, Mass Mutual, Corning, Chiquita, and Hewlett-Packard.

Bill was a tenured full professor in the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University from 1976-1997, where he taught courses in the school's MBA, Executive MBA, PhD and Executive PhD programmes. He was a visiting professor at INSEAD and Stanford and a faculty member in the executive education programmes there.

His current role is as Global Practice Leader of Organizational Transformation at the Center for Creative Leadership. As a thought leader in the field of organization development, he has published twentyone books and numerous articles, including The Board's New Roles in Succession Planning, How to Make Sure your Next CEO is a Winner, Choosing the Best Next CEO, Designing Effective Organizations, Creating Strategic Change, Research in Organization Change and Development, and Relationships that Enable Enterprise Change.
