Kevin O'Boyle

Kevin is one of the most experienced Pension Directors in the UK having held senior management positions at Standard Chartered Bank, SmithKline Beecham (now GSK), GEC , Royal & Sun Alliance and currently BT.
During his career, he has managed extensive pension fund capital on a global basis, through both external investment management appointments and responsibility for an investment management company with £7bn under management.
At BT he is responsible for all aspects of pensions worldwide including the c. £40bn BT Pension Scheme – the largest private sector occupational scheme in the UK. A regular speaker at UK and international conferences on a variety of topics, including medical plans, share plans, benefit design, administration and investment matters, Kevin also aims to challenge the thinking of trustees, investment managers and consultants (particularly actuaries!).
